Family Friendly Malham Tour
One of the great things about my job is I get to travel the country and see some beautiful places and Malham is one of my favourites anywhere. This family friendly walk of around 5 miles takes in waterfalls, gorges, dales, limestone pavement, a pretty village and the absolutely incredible Malham Cove (as featured in Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows). Paths are fairly easy, but not suitable for pushchairs, with one grassy climb and some steep steps down the side of The Cove. Don't forget your camera as this truly is one of the wonders of Britain. Tickets are £10 but accompanied children are free.

Ingleborough Sunset
Ingleborough is one of my favourite mountains, it has an iconic profile, an ancient hillfort on the top and the view is amazing. Covering the other two Yorkshire 3 Peaks, Pendle Hill, The Lake District and Morecambe Bay this is the perfect place to watch the sunset, not least because it has a large and well made wind shelter to park yourself on whilst you wait. The walk up from Clapham isn’t half bad either with woodland, waterfalls, caves and even a tiny little scramble up Trow Gill as well as the opening to Gaping Gill, one of the finest caves in the UK. After we have walked up then we get to sit and wait for the sun to set across the sea and then return in the dark to Clapham and a nice cosy pub. If you like the idea of this walk then we are also running a Scafell Pike Sunrise and Snowdon Sunset walk.
